OUR BEGINNINGS
PhotoAudit+ emerged from a keen observation by our founder, Marc Friedman. He identified a critical challenge in capturing and validating accurate photographic evidence in the field, especially in the telecoms and engineering sectors where remote and hard-to-reach sites are common.
Despite the advent of mobile phone cameras in the early 2000s, a seamless, integrated solution for remote photo validation remained elusive.
As a seasoned tech entrepreneur with a track record of successful ventures, Marc envisioned a sophisticated yet user-friendly platform to address this gap. Partnering with a team of experts, he brought PhotoAudit+ to life.
There were 2 main problems PhotoAudit+ sought to address.
1.Organization
Project managers often faced the cumbersome task of sorting through batches of photos received from field teams, and manually correlating each image to the relevant job stage and subject. This process involved searching through photo files for date, time, and location stamps.
PhotoAudit+ simplifies this with its pre-built, customizable photo checklists, allowing project managers to define precisely what photos are needed from the field. This streamlines the submission process and enhances organizational efficiency.
2.Quality Assurance
Without real-time communication, field-based teams submit photos only after they have left the site. This means any issues identified with the onsite work cannot be addressed whilst the teams are on location, so they have to return to the site to rectify any issues, leading to higher costs and inefficiencies.
PhotoAudit+ is a purpose-built platform and application that enables real-time photo submission and quality validation while teams are still on site. By allowing immediate review and feedback, teams can address any issues during their initial visit, eliminating costly return trips and delays.
